Submitted by FastDraft, LLC
1. Operator and Game Overview
FantasySpin is a fantasy sports brand operated by FastDraft, LLC. FantasySpin Classic is a daily fantasy sports contest in which participants construct fantasy lineups using a defined number of spins and locks. FantasySpin Team uses the same core game mechanics as FantasySpin Classic, but scoring is based on the sum total of the applicable roster scoring, as described below.
2. Eligible Sports and Players
- NFL: Players listed on their teams' official depth charts who exceed the applicable minimum projected-points threshold.
- NBA: Eligible players in the applicable contest player pool who exceed the applicable minimum projected-points threshold.
- MLB: Eligible players in the applicable contest player pool who exceed the applicable minimum projected-points threshold.
- NHL: Eligible players in the applicable contest player pool who exceed the applicable minimum projected-points threshold.
- NASCAR: Drivers eligible for the applicable race who exceed the applicable minimum projected-points threshold.
- PGA: Golfers eligible for the applicable tournament who exceed the applicable minimum projected-points threshold.
- All NCAAF: Players who are listed on their teams official depth charts and exceed a minimum projected points threshold.
- All NCAAMBB: Players who are listed on their teams official depth charts and exceed a minimum projected points threshold.
Eligible sports and player pools may vary by jurisdiction. FastDraft restricts sports, competitions, athletes, and player pools where required by applicable law or regulation.
3. FantasySpin Classic - Draft and Lineup Construction
FantasySpin Classic contests provide each entrant with the same number of spins and locks for the particular contest. Depending on the contest configuration, participants use between 3 and 20 spins and between 4 and 6 locks to construct a fantasy lineup. The applicable number of spins and locks is established before the contest and remains the same for all entrants in that contest.
Participants use spins to draft eligible athletes and use available locks to retain athletes in their lineup. Participants may continue editing their lineup while they have spins remaining and while the contest remains open. Once the contest closes, no further lineup edits are permitted.
4. FantasySpin Team
FantasySpin Team uses the same spin-and-lock game structure as FantasySpin Classic. The distinguishing feature is the scoring methodology: FantasySpin Team scoring uses the sum total of the applicable entire roster scoring rather than the individual-player scoring structure used in FantasySpin Classic. The number of spins, locks, roster requirements, contest slate, entry fee, prize structure, and other contest-specific terms are disclosed to participants for the applicable contest.
5. Contest Size and Entry Limits
The total number of permitted entries varies by contest. FastDraft limits the maximum number of entries a participant may submit to a single contest based on the total number of permitted entries as follows:
| Total Permitted Entries | Maximum Entries Per Participant |
|---|---|
| 12 or fewer | 1 |
| 13 to 36 | 2 |
| 37 to 100 | 3 |
| More than 100 | Lesser of 3% of total permitted entries or 150 |
6. Entry Fees
Entry fees vary by contest but are the same for all participants entering the same contest. The applicable entry fee is displayed in the FantasySpin application for each respective contest before entry.
7. Contest Entry Close and Lineup Edits
Each contest closes at a predetermined time disclosed for that contest and before the start of the applicable underlying sporting events for athletes eligible to be drafted in that contest. Participants may edit their lineup before contest close while they have spins remaining. After contest close, lineup edits are prohibited.
8. Roster Requirements and Starting Lineup
Roster requirements may differ by sport and contest. Once a contest is created, however, the roster requirements remain the same for all participants in that contest. For contests using the standard FantasySpin Classic lineup, a participant's starting lineup consists of eight athletes drawn from two or more teams, subject to the sport- and contest-specific roster requirements disclosed in the contest information.
9. Scoring
FantasySpin uses official league statistics provided by reputable data partners and includes statistics from sporting events the applicable league deems official. Standings are determined by the total fantasy points scored during the contest's designated slate of games.
- If the applicable league declares a game "suspended," statistics generated before suspension count toward the contest. Statistics generated when the event resumes count only if the resumed play occurs during the relevant contest duration.
- If the applicable league declares a game canceled or postponed, affected fantasy players receive the applicable pre-game projected fantasy points toward their total team score.
- If an athlete does not play due to injury, the affected fantasy player receives the applicable pre-game projected fantasy points toward the total team score.
10. Traded or Retired Players
If an athlete is traded, participants receive points reflecting the athlete's qualifying performance for the new team. Participants may not exchange an athlete solely because the athlete has been traded, retired, or otherwise becomes ineligible to accumulate additional points after the applicable lineup has locked.
11. Contest Duration
The duration and applicable slate for each contest are identified in the contest information section. This information is available to participants before entry and remains available in connection with the contest.
12. Prizes and Prize Pool
Prize information and the applicable prize breakdown are displayed in the FantasySpin application for each contest. Prizes and awards are established and made known before entry. The contest information identifies whether the contest is guaranteed or non-guaranteed and displays the applicable prize structure to participants.
FastDraft charges an administration fee on contest entries to cover operational costs. Applicable contest and fee information is disclosed in the contest information page within the application.
13. Ties
If a tie occurs, tied entrants evenly divide the combined prize allocation for the finishing positions they share. For example, if two entrants tie for first place, they equally divide the combined prizes allocated to first and second place. If four entrants tie for second place, they evenly divide the combined prizes allocated to second, third, fourth, and fifth place.
14. Standings and Tournament Placing
Final standings and tournament placement are determined by total fantasy points scored during the applicable contest slate, subject to the scoring rules and tie procedures described in these rules and the contest-specific information.
15. Multiple Accounts and Collusion
Each participant is permitted only one account. Multi-accounting, collusion, coordination with other participants to obtain an unfair advantage, or operating or controlling another participant's account is prohibited. If FastDraft determines, based on its investigation and applicable policies and procedures, that a participant engaged in prohibited multi-accounting, collusion, or related conduct, FastDraft may suspend or terminate the applicable account or accounts and may withhold or retract awards as permitted by applicable law and the Terms of Service.
16. Contest Cancellation
FastDraft may cancel an individual draft or contest when circumstances create a material concern regarding contest integrity or fairness, including service or technical disruptions or disruptions affecting the underlying sporting events. If a contest is canceled, affected contest entries are refunded and credited back to the participant's FantasySpin account balance.
17. Contest-Specific Rules and Participant Eligibility
Each contest is governed by the contest-specific scoring, roster, control, entry, prize, and other terms disclosed through the FantasySpin website or application. By entering a contest, participants agree to the rules in effect at the time of entry. These game rules operate together with FastDraft's Terms of Service and applicable eligibility requirements.
